Reply:	Hi Francis. Thank you for your question. Nip angle of limestone crusher is the included angle between fixed cone liner and moving cone liner. The angle will affect production efficiency in fact. If the angle is too big, materials will slip in the crushing chamber and then can’t get enough crushing force from fixed cone, so capacity is reduced because of inadequate crushing. Besides, materials will rub and the liner and energy will be worn seriously. When the angle is too small, crushing chamber will be larger which increases machine’s height and manufacturing costs. The practice has proved that nip angle must be less than twice friction angle between materials and liner, and the biggest angle can’t be more than 27°.
